Products and Services
As a certified community development financial institution,
Generations provides its members affordable access to a full range
of products and services. Our products and services are designed
to reasonably meet your needs with convenience.
Regular Share Accounts (savings)
Regular share accounts can be opened with a minimum of $10
plus a $15 membership fee. Dividends are paid quarterly and deposits
can be made either in person or by mail.
For a full list of services, download our member
brochure.
Share Drafts (checking)
Generations offers a convenient share draft (checking) account
with a minimum deposit of $50 for a low monthly fee of $3.00.
Certificates of Deposits (CDs)
CDs offers a higher rate of interest than a regular savings
account. Insured by NCUA, CDs assure the safety of your initial
investment while allowing interest to accumulate over a determined
time period. When you purchase a CD, you invest a fixed sum
of money, a minimum of $250, for a fixed period of time – six
months, or one, two, three, four, or five years. Generally,
longer terms receive higher interest rates.
Money Market
A Money Market account is an excellent
opportunity to build a nest egg at an attractive market rate.
This gives you the opportunity to systematically add funds in
increments, allowing you to achieve liquidity and flexibility
at the same time.
ATM Access
All Generations members have access to CashPoints ATMs throughout the state of
North Carolina.

a day, 7 days a week. Each transaction is automatically deducted from your checking
account. And, record keeping is made easy because all your transactions will
appear on your statement.

Christmas Club
This is an opportunity to plan
ahead for your Christmas Shopping, while earning dividends.
You can build the account with regular deposits over the
course of the year and in November you’ll receive a
check for the funds you’ve accumulated just in time
to take advantage of the Thanksgiving sales. This account
is to design to keep you from spending funds not budgeted,
so you can avoid overspending at the holidays. Not only is
